
Since its beginning, MASNO has provided both artists and students an opportunity to perform for appreciative audiences and has assisted students in developing skills necessary to build artistic discipline within a comfortable and supportive environment. MASNO has continued to present performances by emerging as well as established artists and to encourage the community to embrace the arts, particularly classical music.

Carefully selected from the online preliminary round, twelve of the world’s top emerging pianists will be invited to New Orleans as semifinalists for a week of competing for cash, performance, and recording prizes totaling over $100,000
